The Mukhyamantri Kaushal Samvardhan Yojana that is also known as the Chief Minister Skill Development Scheme has been developed and designed for providing better vocational training to the potential candidates in Madhya Pradesh. Launch details of the scheme

Eligibility criteria of the scheme

Residents of the state only – The draft of the program highlights the first eligibility criteria is related to the residential status of the candidate. It means residents of Madhya Pradesh area will get the opportunity to apply.

Candidates who dropped out of regular academic framework will be able to get the training under the new scheme and develop their skill in vocational sector.
Candidates who already have any kind of skill training certificate can also join the scheme to enhance their training and get better job opportunities or create opportunities for self-employment.
Candidates from any backward classes and female candidates will also get the opportunity of joining the skill development training sessions.
The candidates who already have some kind of training but do not have any certificate, they can get admission under the scheme and get certificates at the end of the training.
All areas, which suffer from the issues of naxal attacks, will be brought under the scheme as well. It will encourage the people in these areas will get better job openings and will not join the extremist group.

The training institutes will be equipped to provide skill development training to at least 2 lakh female contenders. The selection will be done according to the eligibility of each person who is applying for the training programs.

Improving the overall skill – If any female candidate is looking to better her job opportunities or willing to set up an establishment on her own, then the skill training will come in handy.
Improving the situation in naxalite areas – By training the women who were enrolled in the naxal groups, the government can put a stopper on the chances of youngsters from joining these extremist groups and it will also give these women a chance to better their lives.

How to select candidates?

Not all applicants will be able to get the chance of attaining the skill development trainings. The candidates will have to choose the subject as per their preference.

Then an entrance examination will be conducted by the respective authority. The exam will be taken online and the candidates who success in making the cut will be allowed to get admission in the skill development training sessions.

The qualifying marks for each merit test, for each subject, will be fixed by the apex national education offices.
