Awas Yojana Nagaland – List of Selected Cities
As in India there are lots of families which have no home to stay and they always worry about their future. Because of high rate of property they never to think have their own home. But now it will not dream for them. Centre government launch scheme for such kind of families which is called Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).
Benefits under this Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana:
Under this scheme people will get financial aid for constructing affordable pucca houses from the government with very less interest rate which will in the capacity of the weaker income class. Also beneficiaries will get upfront subsidy benefit on principal outstanding.
And the poor people who are eligible to avail the affordable houses under this PMAY scheme would be able to get loan amount with the maximum limit of 6lakh from all nationalized banks which are under the governance by RBI (Reserve Bank of India).
The offered finance aid under this PMAY would be provided with low interest rate of less than 7% to the eligible poor people who don’t own any houses under their name. Also the scheme offers direct subsidy policy by which the loan amount reaches the beneficiary bank accounts owing to that the involvement of middle men too avoided.
Who will get benefits of this scheme?
- Families not owning a pucca house and plan to have their own house so that they can secure about future. Urban homeless families Who are from Below Poverty Line (BPL)) and the people who are from Economically Weaker Section
Primary Aim of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana
- The housing for all scheme PMAY introduced to construct about 2 Crore pucca houses across the India for the poor Indian People by 2022.
- Homes for Urban slum dwellers and people from economically weaker sections and low income groups and also for rural people. Constructing homes within a span of 7 years i.e. between the 2015 to 2022.
List of Cities under PMAY in Nagaland
By selecting more than 4k cities across the nation, the central government has selected 23 cities from the state Nagaland for PM Awas Yojana. The selected cities would receive new houses under the PMAY scheme which will be awarded to the eligible people of the state from EWS, LIG and BPL.
