In its latest updates and initiative the NITI Aayog department of the country has announced the latest Launch- Atal New India Challenge. The new initiative has been announced by the NITI Aayog under the AIM Atal Innovation Mission). The new drive is mainly focused on all recommendations made by the PM Narendra Modi such that the benefit of the technology and innovations can be directly availed by the citizens of the nation. This can be used for their personal benefit to get established and generate healthy income.

Key Features Atal New India Challenges
- Aim – The main aim of launching the new scheme is to help the new innovators get established. Along with this the government also aims at improving the Product market for new innovations. The scheme is focused on developing new market for innovators along with offering theme with complete solution platform.
- Funds allocated – As per the government for effective implementation of the scheme it has announced to set a budget of Rs 1 core. The funds would be provided to the selected candidates under the scheme.
- Incentive areas – The government has also announced that under this scheme it will offer with incentives to the candidates with in various areas including new innovations. The incentives would be offered by the government within new innovations in Hygiene, Water, health, housing and energy.
- Last date of application – As per the government statements the last dates for registration under the scheme is 10th June 2018 for interested candidates. All candidates are free to apply via the online web portal mentioned above.
- Who can apply –As per the norms any company that has been registered under 1956/2013 company act, MSME units, academics units, registered companies in 2006 Act can legally apply. Apart from this the application is also open for any private or government sector organization individual innovators or combined groups are also welcomed to apply under the scheme.
Eligibility Criteria
- It is obvious that any company that is of Indian Origin is free to apply under the scheme. Apart from this it is also important that the company has to be registered under 2013 and 1956 Company Act.
- The government has announced the new provision open for MSME, DIPP (Department of promotion and Individual Policy) and others that are registered under MSMED Act.
- The government has also stated that the scheme is open for all government and private organizations, institutions, academics firms, partnered firms with Private or Government firms, Research and Development administration and units, manufacturing and entities unites.
Application procedure –
- Interested candidates may have to visit the web portal at aim.gov.in. From there you will have to proceed to the redirected web page by clicking “Atal New India Challenge” link.
- You will be redirected towards the application form web page once you make the selection of “Apply now” option.
- Just fill in all possible details on the application form and submit it online along with your documents. You can also save the PW and ID for future log in to check with your status.
Grant
- Under the new scheme the government has announced that it is wiling to offer a grant or incentive of Rs 1 crores to each registered beneficiary under this scheme overall. The grant can be made use for new implementations.
- The grants will only be provided to the candidates who are wiling to make contributions to the candidates who have made best use of advanced technology.
- The grant will also be offered to the candidates who are willing to offer with incubation, mentoring, support, handholding and other services.
- The grant will be provided by the government to the innovators within selected areas of their contribution. This is applicable for technical, supportive, marketing and other fields.
