Udyami Sakhi Mandal Yojana in Jharkahand

As per the government’s newly proposed scheme, Udyami Sakhi Mandal the rural women from the state will be trained in groups and supported with sufficient assistances by the state government so that the group of rural women would able to stand on their own by involving into entrepreneurship by setting up small scale firms in their location.

Women empowerment in the Jharkhand State

In order to create awareness about the gender equality and to provide equal rights to women the state government has conducing several awareness campaign and policies throughout the state. On the recently submitted state budget the current CM Mr. Raghubar Das, has announced that special care will be provided for the state agricultural activities and also to the women empowerment activities in the state. As per the data released by the CM, the state women empowerment gets about 20% from the budget.
Key points about the Udyami Sakhi Mandal scheme
- Under this scheme, women will be advised to form 15 member groups within themselves. So that each group will get prefect assistance from the state government in order to set up small level industrial firm in their locations.
- Apart from providing financial assistance to the women groups, the state government under this women empowerment scheme offers proper training and guidelines from the experts to the women groups to achieve success.
- By introducing this women empowerment scheme, the rural women would get increased annual income. With that they can lead family more sufficiently, also since the scheme picks only the women from weaker class from the society it will lay strong foundation for the entire weaker community to grow financially stronger.
- In addition to those benefits, the state CM announced the cash benefits for the children from the Taili community who are considered as the low level in the society. Around 3 lakh will be offered to the relevant family who are financially weaker to send their children to schools.
